One Response to Baddeley, Frederick A H

  1. Ruth Taylor says:

This is my maternal grandfather. He died when she was only a baby , 13? mths old. We have a little silk handkerchief he sent her and a note written in pencil to her, exhorting her to be good for her dear mother. We also have a photograph of him sitting on his tailor’s bench before he became a soldier.
Strangely, we always called him “Mum’s Dad” until after SHE died, and only recently called him grandfather.
